Calling all ‘foodies’ and lovers of local produce!
The 3rd North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is launched
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September 2012
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
The Courtyard, Holkham Hall
This celebration of all that is best about food grown, reared, caught or made in North Norfolk, will take place in the lovely old Courtyard of Holkham Hall. This festival forms part of the Norfolk-wide Norfolk Food and Drink Festival which takes place throughout September.
Around 60 of North Norfolk’s finest food producers will be attending offering tastings and their produce for sale.
Come and ‘meet the producers’, find out what's good to eat and drink in North Norfolk and take some home with you!
There will also be a programme of exciting cookery demonstrations in the beautiful hexagonal tent which houses the cookery theatre, hosted by Mary Kemp.
Eminent North Norfolk chefs and producers will be sharing their culinary secrets and talking you through their dishes.
The Cookery theatre will also be the venue for the final of the Local Food Challenge.
Up and coming chefs will have successfully cooked their way through several rounds of this competition over several months to reach the final.
The finalists go head to head and show us what they can cook in 45 minutes with local seasonal produce.
The festival is free to visit although Holkham Hall levy a car parking fee of £2.50 per car.
BE THERE – you’re in for a treat!
