Who are you and what do you do?
Rebecca Bishop, AKA ‘The Next Loaf’. I am a sourdough baking professional, author of the book ‘Two Magpies Bakery’ and teacher of a range of baking classes. Until the end of 2023 I will continue to teach baking lessons at Two Magpies Bakery. Next year I will be teaching baking lessons from my home and various venues around East Anglia and continuing with my food writing.
What do you like about the North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival?
It’s a very friendly event, run on a not for profit basis, that really celebrates producers and chefs from this special part of East Anglia.
What can we expect from you this year?
I will be demonstrating how to make and bake a sourdough pizza. During my demonstration I will be discussing working with sourdough to create dough, shaping and topping a pizza (savoury and also sweet) and baking it ready for the audience to try. I will also be talking about my book.
